Sugar is a hidden boss that can be found in the basement of Zone 0 once the Grand Finale, which is located near the end of Purified Zone 1, has been acquired. The entrance to the basement is in the room that contains the hint to the puzzle on the ground floor. The Judge mentions the cellar as having been built for her and Valerie.

Appearance
Sugar's identity is kept mysterious, as she doesn't want to "lose any time to useless introductions." It is possible she may have been hiding in the basement from the terror that's claimed the Purified Zones.
Sugar has been confirmed by Mortis Ghost to be a human[1].
Personality
In Battle
Sugar is the strongest boss in the game, with a max HP of 12,000. She is, however, extremely susceptible to poison, nullifying any difficulty. She also has four dummy heads stuck on hooks, two on each hand, and one candy on each hook. Defeating her will drop the Grand Chocolatier, which can then be given to Zacharie in Zone 0 (with the rest of elements) to receive either the Aries Card or Ashley Bat.

Relationships
Zacharie
It is heavily implied that she has some sort of personal relationship with Zacharie. After defeating her, she asks the Batter to tell Zacharie goodbye for her, shortly before dying. Talking to Zacharie after defeating her will yield a simple, solemn response, his usual laugh gone quiet. Also his name seems to refer to zahar, what in many languages means exactly sugar.
Trivia
- She sees the Batter as a "frightening duck", which might be a reference to the Batter's form in the Judge's special ending, and it also leads some suspicions that we see him differently than other characters in the game. It's possible that Sugar may just be referring to the Batter himself, as the tip of a Baseball hat is referred to as a bill.
- Interestingly, there is a swan pattern on the floor in the room where Sugar resides.
- Using the Wide Angle or Eye item will display a window with the implication that Sugar has no weaknesses nor resistances, in spite of the fact that she's been confirmed to be susceptible to poison.
